My flat fee structure for ongoing supervision ensures continuous oversight and support under my licenses, regardless of the number of sessions. This approach eliminates concerns about session costs, allowing you to freely reach out or request additional sessions without hesitation. I understand the financial challenges associated with supervision and strive to make it as affordable as possible, prioritizing your growth and development. Furthermore, there are no additional income caps or percentage cuts involved. The income you earn from clients remains entirely yours.
Additionally, ongoing supervision entails sharing your ongoing clinical liability. As your supervisor, I assume legal and ethical responsibility for each client you interact with, every decision you make, and every action you take. This encompasses client interactions, marketing, recruiting, onboarding, and more. By charging a monthly fee, it reflects the ongoing shared responsibility and ensures that my license remains active 24/7 throughout our collaboration. I consider it an honor to share these responsibilities with you, and I am confident that the benefits of consistent supervision will outweigh the financial considerations.

If you're seeking professional growth, support, and accountability in your therapeutic practice, supervision is highly beneficial. It offers a safe space for self-reflection, skill development, and enhancing client outcomes. I encourage you to embrace this opportunity for personal and professional development.
Supervision is available for psychologists, marriage and family therapists, mental health counselors, and social workers practicing anywhere in Washington state. Whether you're an associate therapist in need of a Washington state approved supervisor, an associate MFT requiring an AAMFT-approved supervisor, or a post-licensure therapist seeking continuous support and consultation, professional development, and business coaching, supervision can be an invaluable resource for your personal and professional development.
Supervision Questions
-
Absolutely! I offer both in-person and online supervision options to cater to your preference and convenience. You can choose the format that suits your needs and comfort.

Our supervision sessions are conducted either virtually or in person, depending on preference. Each session lasts 50 minutes, so we will find agree upon a weekly meeting time that works best for both you and me. These regular meetings foster a strong relationship and ensure ongoing support and accountability to help you reach your goals.
During the initial sessions, we will focus on getting to know you, your current circumstances, and your background. Together, we'll identify areas of strength and improvement while setting goals for supervision. Subsequent sessions will be geared towards making tangible progress towards your goals, maximizing your professional potential.
-
The duration of supervision varies for each supervisory relationship. I understand that your needs and goals are unique, and we work collaboratively to determine the appropriate course of supervision. We’ll sign a contract for our work together and you retain the right to cancel supervision with 30 days’ notice at any time, or also remain in supervision.
Unlike some settings that impose duration limits, I offer long-term support tailored to your evolving needs. I value the ongoing relationship we build, recognizing that time is essential for cultivating trust and managing the various transitions you may encounter throughout your career. Whether you require supervision for a specific period or return as needed, I am here to provide consistent support throughout your professional journey.

If you are unable to attend a consultation appointment, please make sure you cancel at least 24 hours beforehand. Otherwise, you will be charged for the full rate of the session.

Yes, we can schedule meetings based on your specific supervision needs and goals, which may include biweekly meetings. Ongoing supervision safeguards your scheduled time and the fee remains the same. Ongoing supervision fees are charged monthly to account for continuous liability, regardless of meeting frequency. Please see “Why is ongoing supervision charged monthly?” for more information above. While I can't negotiate a lower rate, I'm confident that the benefits of consistent supervision will be well worth it.
For post-licensure therapists, you can schedule single supervision consultations on an as-needed basis up to two weeks in advance, subject to availability.
