My journey into the counseling profession began with a strong desire to help others. During my education, I developed a passion for mental health and counseling, which led me to earn my Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Whitworth University. Since then, I have found deep fulfillment in supporting clients as they gain insight, heal from past experiences, and connecting with their authentic selves. My goal is to create a safe, supportive, and welcoming space where you feel genuinely heard and understood as we work together through life’s challenges.
My therapeutic approach is warm, collaborative, trauma-informed, and compassionate. I believe meaningful change happens when clients feel safe enough to explore their experiences, develop new perspectives, and build skills that support lasting growth. I work with mainly older teens and adults facing concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, self-esteem challenges, and difficulties related to life transitions and relationships. Together, we focus on increasing self-awareness, strengthening resilience, and fostering a deeper connection to their values and sense of self.
I draw from a variety of evidence-based approaches to tailor therapy to each client’s unique needs. My training includes Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Plus (CBT+), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Gottman Method Couples Therapy Level I, and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). I also integrate elements of Internal Family Systems (IFS), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). My hope is to help you feel supported, empowered, and more connected to your whole self throughout the therapeutic process.
