Licensed Marriage and Family Therapy Associate

Hello! My name is Jordyn Kuttner, I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate. I know that starting therapy, or returning to it, can be challenging, whether you're just beginning for the first time, searching for a new therapist, or diving back into the hard work. I'm happy to be here for you while you explore what the right fit looks like, whether that means working together or helping you connect with someone who better meets your current needs.

My personal and professional life have led me to really value creating a safe, comfortable, and trustworthy relationship within the therapy space. Ideally, I would love it for my new clients to feel the warmth, acceptance, and genuine care I offer in every session. Within each session, I use Evidence-Based practices and interventions, and I am open to answering any questions about the science behind these interventions and models, as well as walking you through the reasoning behind using those techniques with you specifically! I enjoy getting to know people’s personalities, how their brain works, and what they have experienced in life. It really is a gift to be trusted with such intimate details about someone’s life. I tend to lean towards trauma work, depression, and anxiety, although I do find myself always curious and wanting to expand my knowledge. I draw from a range of evidence-based approaches-including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT, and elements of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and Internal Family Systems (IFS). I am Gottman Level 2, and EFT core skill trained. I have experience supporting individuals and couples facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, C-PTSD, and recovery from sexual assault, including childhood sexual trauma.

Lean In Therapy, PLLC

If you can see yourself aligning with some of my values, modalities, and approaches, please feel free to reach out to me. I would be honored to be a part of your healing journey, especially if that starts with a “I’m unsure about therapy”. Reaching out and getting started is sometimes a huge barrier, so if there is anything I can offer to aid in that process, feel free to let me know.

I like to tell people that I have been on both sides of the therapeutic relationship, I learned so much as a client and as a therapist and I am happy to normalize therapy as much as possible! I am a passionate person who likes to engage with the inner worlds of others, and I plan to always honor that gift of trust when someone “lets me in” to their world.
