I’m Emily Cziglenyi, a licensed marriage and family therapist associate. I graduated with a Masters of Art from Whitworth University Marriage and Family Therapy program. I enjoy working with adults and couples who are navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship challenges, grief, perfectionism, sports, stress, or trauma. Many of my clients seek therapy for personal growth, healing of trauma or attachment injuries, processing of family dynamics, and development of coping mechanisms.
As my client you can expect therapy with me to be centered around forming a strong partnership with you. You can expect a space that feels warm, tranquil, and safe, where unwavering support and empathy are felt. I use an integrated approach with my modalities, tools and therapeutic styles, keeping a high priority on the therapeutic alliance built and honoring your unique story.
My approach blends evidence‑based practices from CBT, EFT, Rogerian, trauma informed, and systemic perspectives. I use a collaborative style with a mixture of directive and non-directive approaches when treating my clients. I’m deeply committed to addressing mental health concerns and challenges and am dedicated to meeting the unique treatment goals you and I set together.
If what you’ve read speaks to you, I would be honored to walk alongside you in your journey. I want to acknowledge your bravery and willingness to take that first step. You’re never alone on this journey and the effort you put into your own well-being is always worth it. All that I ask is for you to keep an open-mind to the process
