Does your child or teen seem to be struggling, and you’re not sure how to help? Anxiety, big emotions, behavioral challenges, or family conflict can leave everyone feeling overwhelmed. As a parent, it can be difficult to watch your child struggle, especially when they don’t yet have the tools to manage challenges on their own. You don’t have to figure it out alone.
I work with children, teens, young adults, parents, and families navigating anxiety, depression, stress, behavioral concerns, parenting challenges, and family conflict. My goal is to help clients better understand themselves, build practical skills, and feel more confident in handling life’s challenges.
Therapy with me is collaborative, supportive, and tailored to each client. I create a warm, welcoming environment where clients can feel comfortable being themselves and share openly. I am direct and honest while offering encouragement and feedback to support growth. Depending on the client, therapy may include skill-building, creativity, play, reflection, and practical strategies.
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Play Therapy, Creative Interventions, and Solution-Focused Therapy. I earned my Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy from Whitworth University and have experience working with children and adolescents in a school setting.
I became a therapist because I want to help children develop the tools and confidence they need to navigate challenges and feel supported along the way.
